TOMT RUM

TOMT RUM is the result of a workshop with the danish fashion label / performance group MoonSpoonSaloon. In 3 days back in october a group of students from KHiB were asked to develope each their own character, and to create a visual appearance for this character. Now, in the last 3 days we have collaborated on reviving this diverse group of characters, turning them into a community. This community is what is being performed here tonight.

VARIETY

Focussing on Performance as a special tradition in artistic practice this program is to understood as an umbrella or mobile stage housing the various activities within the field of performance at KHiB. VARIETY is thus not a course in the traditional sense, but rather a field of activities to be explored by students, teachers and guest-artists.

In the study year 2013/14 the core of VARIETY is an ongoing seminar on Performance Art History and an assigment developing a series a student-led thematic performance-events. Adding to this a program of lectures and courses is planned.
